Welcome!
We appreciate your interest and desire to pursue your graduate education with UCF’s College of Engineering and Computer Science. For information on general UCF graduate admissions requirements that apply to all prospective students, please visit the Admissions and Registration section of the Graduate Catalog. Applicants must apply online. Please be sure to submit all requested material by the established deadline(s).
Deadlines
The best time to apply for admission to the program is for the fall semester when the first two beginning courses are offered. Students who have sufficient background can apply to any of the three semesters during the year (fall, spring, and summer). The application deadlines are: July 1 (fall semester), Dec 1 (Spring semester), and April 15 (Summer semester). Recently, most programs have not accepted students for the summer terms; students should follow up with their program director for additional information. Please use the university’s academic calendar to find important dates and other deadlines.
International applicants have admission deadlines that are approximately six months before their chosen semester will begin. These are fixed deadlines due to the amount of paperwork and support materials needed for I-20s and other immigration documents. Please direct all questions about international directed to the UCF Global Office (407) 823-2337 or INTLadmissions@ucf.edu.

APPLICATION FEE WAIVER OPPORTUNITIES
CECS offers a limited number of application fee waivers to prospective graduate applicants. These waivers are intended to encourage strong, complete applications and are subject to eligibility requirements and availability. You will be notified if you are eligible for the fee waiver.
Two opportunities may be available for Fall admission:
Early Action Fee Waiver
Available to prospective graduate applicants who submit a complete application early in the admissions cycle. Priority deadline: October 15.
Honors Program Student Fee Waiver
Available to prospective graduate applicants currently participating in a recognized university honors program. Priority deadline: December 1.
Application fee waivers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no separate application for a fee waiver. Applicants will be notified within a few days after the priority deadline if they have been selected.
Receiving an application fee waiver does not guarantee admission. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of their intended program and submit all required application materials by the applicable priority deadline.
